When choosing a boxing glove for a beginner or professional competitor, the first thing to keep in mind is what the glove will be used for:
a) If the glove will be used for traditional boxing training (eg hitting heavy bags or pets, etc).
b) If the glove will be used for Sparring or Combat School.
c) If the glove will be used for official Professional or Amateur Boxing fights, the weight of the boxer must be taken into account in order to select the weight of the glove to be used.
d) We must keep in mind that the gloves for official Professional or Amateur Boxing fights must meet the technical requirements demanded by world boxing organizations or federations.
After the practitioner is sure that the glove will be used, then the characteristics or tastes of the practitioner are analyzed:
a) If the practitioner wants the glove with laces or Velcro.
b) If you want it made of 100% Leather (more expensive) or you want it made of PU
c) If you want a specific brand, color or a specific design. d) If you want the personalized glove, etc.
